Salt and sugar production volumes increased in Armenia
According to the data published by the RA National Statistical Service in the period from January to November 2016 the production volume of salt increased by 5.6 percent in Armenia making up 25.865.1 tones.
To compare with the same period of 2015 24.494.0 tons of salt was produced in Armenia.
According to the NSS the volume of sugar production has also increased in Armenia by 1.7 percent. In January-November of 2016 54.119.0 tons of sugar was produced in the Republic of Armenia to compare with 53.225.0 tons produced in 2015.
To note, except the salt and sugar production the production volumes of a number of essential food products have been reduced in Armenia.
