Gazprom's employees congratulate Armenians on the reduction of gas tariff
In these days the employees of the Gazprom Armenia knock on the doors of the Armenian citizens, present them the total bill for the gas consumed by them in the last month and inform them that the gas tariff has dropped by over 8 AMD.
To note, Public Services Regulatory Commission adopted a decision to reduce gas prices on 25 November 2016 approving the claim made by Gazprom Armenia on 1 November.
According to the PSRC’s decision the prices will be determined on the basis of certain groups of citizens and businesses establishing 5 groups of consumers instead of the former 2 groups.
The first group will feature the socially vulnerable families and a 100-dram-per-cubic-meter tariff for 600 cubic meters consumed during a year has been offered for them.
The second group includes the citizens who consume up to 10 thousand cubic meters.
The gas tariff will make up 139 drams per cubic meter instead of the current 146.7 drams for them.
The third group features the consumers using more than 10 thousand cubic meters. Gas prices will make up 115.5 drams per cubic meter instead of the former 137 drams.
Pursuant to the government’s decision different gas prices have been prescribed for greenhouses and a number of processing companies. The gas tariff for them will make up 102 AMD.
