Highways mainly passable in the territory of Armenia
Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reports that as of 19.00, January 7
highways in the territory of Armenia are mainly passable.
Particularly Vardenyats Pass and Sotk-Karvajar highway are difficult to pass. Urasar-Katnaghbyur road is closed.
Clear ice is observed on Alagyaz-Tsakghkahovit road, fog is observed in Ashtarak town of Aragatsotn region and Yeghvard town of Kotayk region.
According to the information received from the Emergency Management Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Stepantsminda-Lars Highway is open for all types of vehicles with antiskid chains.
