Young families to enjoy more favorable conditions under “Affordable Housing” program
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has instructed the Minister of Sport Youth Affairs to hold discussions over the possibility of revising the criteria for the implementation of the “Affordable Housing for Young Families” state program.
As the head of the government stated at a cabinet session, it is necessary to reconsider the sum of the first payment, as well as the terms and interest rates for the acquired apartments.
The Prime Minister also suggested to discuss the matter with the Central Bank of Armenia upon necessity.
To remind, “Affordable Housing for Young Families” is a program initiated by the Government of Armenia in 2010 to support young families who are in strong need of improvement of housing conditions.
