Sergey Smbatyan to conduct National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia
On February 8 the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor_ Vladimir Spivakov) will perform under the direction of Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia Sergey Smbatyan. The concert will be held at the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International Performing Arts Center, Panorama.am reports referring to the official website of the State Youth Orchestra.
As the source reports the concert program includes pieces by Rachmaninoff and Rimsky-Korsakov.
Yekaterina Mechetina (piano) will perform as the soloist.
