Air temperature to drop by 10-15 °C in Armenia on Feb. 2-3
Snowfalls are expected in the majority of Armenia’s provinces on 1 February, as well as in Vayots Dzor, Syunik and Artsakh Republic overnight 2 February with snowstorms and low visibility in the mountainous territories and mountain passes. No precipitations are expected in the daytime of 2 February and on 3-5 February. The wind is from the south-west with the velocity of 3-8 m/s. Strong wind up to 16-18 m/s is expected in certain territories on 1 February. The air temperature will decrease by 10-15 °C on 2-3 February. The source informs that snowfalls are forecast in Yerevan on 1 February. No precipitations are expected from February 2 to 5. On 2-5 February cold down to -25 °C is expected to be registered in low-lying areas of Yerevan in the night hours. -10 °C will be recorded in the city in the daytime of the mentioned period.
