Armenia received humanitarian aid worth US $45,630 million in 2016
According to the custom declarations data provided by the State Customs Committee under RA Government for the period of January-December 2016, 7 631.2 tones of goods were imported into Armenia as humanitarian aid with total value of 21 859.3 milliard AMD or $45 630.0.
According to data released by Armenia’s National Statistical Service (NSS), 51.7% of the received aid comprised products of chemical and related industries, 14.3% - articles of textile, 7.3% - different industrial products, 7.1% - machinery and mechanism, 5.8% - equipment’s and appliances, 13.8% - other goods.
For 2016, the US share of the provided humanitarian aid to Armenia has comprised 21.2%, 24,2% came from the EU countries, 16,9% – from Switzerland, and 14.2% - from China.
