"Gazprom Armenia" tops the list of Armenia’s major taxpayers
The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has released a summarized report on 1000 major taxpayers of Armenia and the payments made by them according to the results of January-December 2016.
According to the released figures "Gazprom Armenia" company tops the list of Armenia’s major taxpayers having paid taxes totaling to 42 billion 381 million 154.1 thousand AMD in 2016.
"Grand Tobacco” Armenian-Canadian Joint Venture ranked the second place. In the last year the company paid a total of 22 billion 571 million AMD tax which exceeds the figure of 2015 by 65 percent. To note the company paid taxes making up 13 billion 699 million 722 thousand AMD in 2015.
The third major taxpayer of Armenia is the “Electric Networks of Armenia” having made a payment totaling to 17 billion 264 million 389.4 thousand AMD to compare with 16.4 billion AMD of 2015.
“Vorotan Hydropower Plant” made 15 billion 526 million 369.3 thousand AMD payment to the state budget in 2016 taking the fourth place of the list of the major taxpayers of Armenia.
The top five is concluded by "Alex Grig" company belonging to the family of Armenian MP Samvel Alexanyan. The company paid 14 billion 864 million 746.6 thousand AMD tax in 2016.
The following companies have also been included in the top ten of the list of Armenian major taxpayers: “CPS Oil Corporation” (13 billion 790 million 645.4 thousand AMD paid tax), “Teghut” (13 billion 357 million 405.1 thousand tax), “Karabakh Telecom” (12 billion 813 million 282.6 thousand AMD paid tax), “Armenia Telephone Company” (12 billion 429 million 507.2 thousand AMD tax).
“Flesh” company concludes the top ten list with 10 billion 906 million 731.8 thousand AMD paid tax.
