Portugal Open kicks off in Lisbon
Portugal Open chess tournament has kicked off in Lisbon, Portugal.
This year 173 chess players, representing 34 countries, participate in the tournament, and there are 19 GMs, 12 IMs and 15 FMs among them. Panorama.am reports referring to the Chess Federation of Armenia.
4 rounds of Portugal Open were played during weekend. GM Tigran Gharamian scored 4 points out of 4 and is among the leaders. GM Karen Grigoryan and IM Tigran Harutyunian have 3 points apiece.
Round 5 of the tournament will be held today.
