Spartacus Ballet performed in Belgium by Armenian artists
The Aram Khachaturian's Spartacus Ballet has been premiered by 21 members of the corps de ballet of the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiarian in Belgium. As the Opera House reports, renowned Yuri Grigorovich acted as the choreographer of the performance.
Belgian media outlets have specially highlighted the proficient dancing and play of Armenian artists.
The note, Khachaturian composed Spartacus in 1954. It remains one of Khachaturian's best known works and is prominent within the repertoires of the Bolshoi Theatre and other ballet stages in Russia and the countries of former Soviet Union.
