Armenia and Iran are connected with multiple ties_ FM Nalbandian
Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Mohammad Javad Zarif exchanged messages on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Panorama.am reports citing the official website of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the report, Edward Nalbandian in his message has mentioned that Armenia and Iran are connected with multiple ties, which are, first and foremost, the relations with a millennia-old history, deep respect between the two peoples, the esteem towards each other’s culture, and the friendly cooperation, based on that solid foundation. Minister of Foreign Affairs underlines that there is every reason to confidently state that with joint efforts the collaboration between our friendly states will be further strengthened and deepened for the benefit of the two neighbouring nations. Edward Nalbandian highly appreciates the personal input of Mohammad Javad Zarif in the development of relations between the two countries, while congratulating him on this important occasion and wishing further success and new achievements.
Minister Zarif in his message notes with satisfaction that during this period due to the will and management of the leaders of the two countries, the relations between our states have been developed in all areas of mutual interest. Iranian Minister further adds that it is beyond any doubt that the official visit of Hassan Rouhani, President of Islamic Republic of Iran, to Armenia on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is another step aimed at strengthening and promoting relations between the two countries. Congratulating the Minister, the Government and the people of Armenia, Iranian Foreign Minister wishes a good health and success to his Armenian counterpart as well as prosperity and happiness to the people of Armenia.
