World Champion Albert Amirjanyan visits Artsakh
2016 World Champion, Master of Sport Albert Amirjanyan has visited Artsakh with a mission to take the flag of his motherland. The young Thai boxer has competed under the Russian flag thus far, yet pledges to raise the Armenian tricolor during the 2017 World Championship, artsakh.tv reported.
“Thai boxing is rather tough and passes in severe struggle. It would be probably difficult for me to claim victories without displaying that high spirit which passed through my genetic line. I also see the decisiveness of Armenian athletes trying to be victorious at all cost. I am currently getting ready for the World Championship due on May 2. I definitely want to compete under the Armenian flag this time,” Amirjanyan has told the TV.
