Azerbaijan attempts to change the country’s image through propaganda, political scientist says
“Azerbaijan has a state program which mainly aims at changing the image of the country through propaganda. That program is quite useless. All these measures show the weakness of the state services who take them,” Director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan expressed such an opinion during today’s press conference.
He noted that significant amount of money and resources are used for the implementation of the program and all that is carried out on the state level.
“Money is allocated for the purpose of finding Armenians worldwide and trying to transfer them to Baku. In some cases they succeed in it,” the political scientist said.
In the words of A. Iskandaryan the case of the Russian-Israeli blogger A. Lapshin was within this program.
The political scientist labelled such a policy of Azerbaijan as political mental illness.
