Iranian bank Saderat allocates €83 million for construction of Iran-Armenia 3rd power transmission line
“The Export Development Bank of Iran (Saderat) has provided funds for the construction of Iran-Armenia 3rd power transmission line,” IRIB Iranian news agency told Panorama.am about this.
As the Iranian source reports, 107 million euros is to be allocated for the construction of the 3rd power transmission line within the framework of the program of “Gas-Electricity Exchange” implemented by Armenia and Iran. The Export Development Bank of Iran has allocated the major sum- €83 million.
No note, the length of the Iran-Armenia 400 kV air power transmission line is over 279 km in the territory of Armenia. The program also aims at connecting the Armenian and Georgian energy systems.
The construction of Iran-Armenia third 400 kV power transmission line and the respective substation is intended to be completed within 24 months.
