Political scientist sees no political force having serious chances in upcoming Parliamentary elections of Armenia
Political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan currently does not see any political power that stands a serous chance to gain 54 percent of the votes in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
“Only Levon Ter-Petrosyan has delivered a speech on the party program, no other party has come up with a program so far,” he said.
According to Iskandaryan, currently the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) does not face serious competition in case “a miracle happens in a month.”
The political scientist expects post-election crisis is this election as well.
“There will certainly be one [crisis]. One of the forces will certainly announce that it has gained 150 percent of the votes instead of the 3 percent,” he said.
According to Iskandaryan the RPA faction will form the parliamentary majority and some other political forces will be included.
“I have an idea which forces stand more chances to hold places in the National Assembly, however I do not want to name them as they still are to compete,” he added.
