Armenia’s FM discussed recent development in the Syrian conflict settlement with Staffan de Mistura
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has met on Friday with the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura. As the press department at the ministry of foreign affairs reports, the meeting was held in the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
According to the release, the interlocutors touched upon the efforts aimed at resolving the Syrian conflict with the UN Envoy presenting in detail the recent developments and the prospects of the conflict settlement process.
Staffan de Mistura has appreciated that Armenia continues delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Syria to the best of its abilities and accepts large numbers of refugees suffering the conflict.
