Aronian makes another draw
FIDE Grand Prix 2017 is underway in Sharjah. In Round 2 Armenian GM Levon Aronian drew his game against Michael Adams. In this round Maxime Vachier-Lagrave from France, who competed with Hungary's Richard Rapport, celebrated his second victory. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Din LiZhen also won their games. The rest of the games of this round ended in draws.
After Round 2, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, who has scored 2 out of possible 2 points, is solely leading the table. Michael Adams and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov are closely trailing the leader sharing 2-3 positons. Levon Aronian has scored 1 point and shares the fourth place. In Round 3 Armenian GM will play against Alexander Grischuk from Russia.
