“Bright Border” volunteer organization has come up with another charity initiative this time in Talish village of the Republic of Artsakh, where reconstruction works have been underway since the end of April war.
As the organization reports in a release, the initiative that aims to sooth the burden of electricity charges and showcase the possibilities of affordable electricity to the public has installed free of charge LED technology as well as installed solar water heater system provided by Shtigen company in Talish Military Headquarters. Additionally, 185 LED bulbs have been handed over to Talish Mayor’s office for later distribution to the residents once they return after the completion of the reconstruction works.
The visit of the initiative group has been accompanied by the Head of Talish Community Vilen Petrosyan. It has been noted that ongoing large-scale works are aimed at Talish development which is expected to turn to one of the modern border villages upon the completion of the reconstruction works.
“Bright Border” and Shtigen call on other companies to bring their contribution to the reconstruction of Talish.
The organization reminds, that by means of crowd funding in November and December 2016, they have collected donations both from Armenia and overseas, purchasing and installing the LED bulbs in the neediest households of the border villages of Tavush region of Armenia in early December. The initiative also showcases the extent of efficiency on the budget of the households already one month after the installation.
