Artsakh recognition a matter of time, Sharmazanov says
The NKR Constitutional referendum on 20 February and the assessments of the international observers came to show that Karabakh is moving towards the way of building a democratic state. Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov expressed such an opinion during today’s post-election press conference in Stepanakert.
“The Constitutional referendum showed that the people of Artsakh are united. The referendum and the assessments of the international observers came to show that Artsakh is moving towards the way of building a democratic state. After the April flare-up this was the first nationwide event in the NKR and the people of Artsakh jointly showed that regardless of any military adventure they will steadily embark on the way of building a free and independent state,” Sharmazanov said.
He noted that the NKR referendum can serve as an example for the states of the region.
According to Sharmazanov the recognition of Artsakh is a matter of time.
