No alternative to OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship format, Russia’s Lavrov says
There is no alternative to the current OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship format set to settle the NKR conflict, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted the aforesaid at a press conference following the meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. Panorama.am reports referring to RIA Novosti.
“If we are truly committed to the fundamental agreements on the need for identifying mutually acceptable solutions, I am profoundly convinced that there is no alternative to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship format,” Lavrov said.
He noted that the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan have repeatedly supported the format. In addition to this, all members of the OSCE came out in support of the leading role of the three co-chairs.
