NKR defense Army: Adversary applied cannons in Talish direction
The Azerbaijani forces continued intensively violating the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan overnight to February 25-26, firing from 122-mm howitzer D-30, D-44 cannons, grenade launchers, and mortars, firing more than 2,200 shots toward the Armenian positions.
Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh reports, more intensive violations came in eastern, northeastern, and northern directions of the Line of Contact, where the Azerbaijani forces fired 133 shells from D-33, D-44 cannons and mortars, 36 – from cannons, and 77 shots from mortars. The adversary has also shelled Talish village (18 shells).
The statement goes on saying Defense Army frontline units retaliated to suppress the adversary’s offensive activity and continued confidently carrying out their combat duties.
