Levon Aghasyan declared winner of the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships
Armenian athlete Levon Aghasyan was declared the winner of the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships held in Belgrade. As the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Narine Shahbazyan informed, Aghasyan recorded 16m 39cm result and won a gold medal.
“Armenia was represented by 8 athletes. They are currently holding training session in the capital of Serbia ahead of the European Championships. 5 out our 8 athletes are set to participate in the European Indoor Championships which is to be held on 3-5 March, 2017 in the same venue,” Shahbazyan told.
