First-ever Armenian racing driver to participate in Nuremberg legendary marathon
First-ever Armenian racing driver Artur Goroyan, who holds a B Category International License, has signed a contract with the German motor-racing team LMS Engineering.
Goroyan is set to drive Audi RS3 LMS in two races ahead of the Nuremberg legendary marathon to be held on May 28 and in seven other competitions after the marathon.
German Thomas Vassel and Marcus Lyohnert will act as Goroyan’s team members for the 2017 competition cycle. The Armenian-German crew is set to participate in the first 4-hour competition on March 25 and later on April 8.
According to the VLN calendar, the crew will participate in the 24-hour qualification race of the marathon.
