Armenian wrestlers win one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at Outstanding Ukrainian Memorial
The bouts of the first day of XXI Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial 2017 is over in Kiev. Four of five Armenian Greco-Roman style wrestlers won medals in the first day.
Sargis Kocharyan (w/c 80kg) beat all his opponents and won the gold medal. In the same weight class, Rafik Manukyan won the bronze, according to the report of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
Artur Shahinyan (w/c 98 kg) won the silver medal and Gevorg Gharibyan (w/c 59 kg) won the bronze.
Today Armenian wrestlers Karen Aslanyan (w/c 66 kg), Varsham Boranyan (w/c 75 kg), Maxim Manukyan (w/c 85 kg) and Vachik Yeghiazaryan (w/c 130 kg) will begin their bouts.
