Petrol, diesel fuel prices rise in Armenia
February 2017 saw 0.9% deflation in the non-food product market to compare with January 2017. Deflation of 1.4 - 0.1% was observed in 5 towns based on monitoring data conducted in 8 towns, with registered inflation by 0.1-0.3% in three towns. Prices in the non-food product market in capital Yerevan dropped by 1.4%.
As Armenia’s National Statistical Service reports, in February 2017 Armenia recorded 9.2% deflation and 10.1% inflation in the petrol and diesel fuel respectively to compare with January 2017.
The petrol and diesel fuel prices fell by 7.3% and 4.9 respectively to compare with February 2016, while 5.6% and 10.9% rise in prices observed to compare with December 2016.
