Armenia, France to cooperate in tourism sphere
Armenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan and French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault signed on March 8 a memorandum on promoting the development and strengthening of the cooperation between Armenia and France in tourism sphere.
The Press Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments told Panoram.am that Armenia and France have agreed on the following:
• Exchange of skills and experience in spheres of common interest.
• Improvement of tourist reception conditions and security in the two states.
• Mutual promotion of tourist destinations through mass media, travel agencies and presentation of tourist destinations.
• Thematic development of cooperation in tourism sphere, in particular promotion of gastronomy, culture, ecotourism, professional education and rural tourism.
• Promotion of mutual investments and cooperation between the private tourism sectors of the two countries.
• Mutual promotion of handicraft, gastronomic, cultural and artistic products of the two countries in the framework of local and events with high tourism potential.
• Any activity aimed at promoting the tourism cooperation between the two countries, as the professional education and digital technology.
