We live in times of political revenge by small and medium-sized states – Nikolai Zlobin
“Today we live in times of political revenge by small and medium-sized states, which has put the major states, that until recently ruled the world, into a deadlock,” Founder and Director of the Center on Global Interests in Washington Nikolai Zlobin said during the visiting session of Valdai International Discussion Club underway in Yerevan.
According to him, today the United States is one of the providers of stability. “Everything has changed, however the main provisions of the U.S. foreign policy have not changes,” he added.
Nikolai Zlobin said that it is not right to put the blame on the U.S. for the instability in the word that began a quarter century ago. He noted that one of the reasons of the instability is the fact that the states begin to lose heir functions.
“They lose control over their economy. The economy and the financial system have become global,” Nikolai Zlobin said.
