Armenian freestyle wrestler conquers silver at international tournament in Turkey
The 45th edition of Yasar Dogu freestyle wrestling tournament concluded in Istanbul with Armenia wrestling team represented by four athletes at the tournament.
Armenian National Olympic Committee reports that on the final day Armenia’s representative Narek Sirunyan (65 kg) come out successfully, gaining early wins in several bouts. Narek Sirunyan conquered silver medal, losing only the final match.
Other representatives of Armenia Vahe Tamrazyan (86 kg), Georgi Ketoyev and Shamir Atyan (97 kg) were left out of the struggle at early stages.
