Clear ice observed on number of roads throughout Armenia
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies told Panorama.am that as of 09:30, March 17 clear is observed on Aparan, Artik-Alagyaz, Sevan-Gavar, Gavar-Martuni, Goris-Sisian roads. According to the source, clear ice is reported on Tigranashen and Vardenyats passes as well. Fog is reported on Masis and Artashat roads with a visibility of 30-50m.
The road crews maintain all-day control over all the highways of the republic, carrying out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand, the release said.
All other interstate and republican roads of the country are open for traffic.
