Armenia to present its tourism attractiveness through video clips in target markets, PM says
The Armenian Government will take concrete steps to make video clips advertising Armenia as a tourism country and to release them through the international media, Panorama.am reports.
In the Cabinet session, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said that in spite of the fact that in the past five years the average annual growth of tourism visits to Armenia amounted to 9 percent, Armenia is underestimated as a tourism country.
“I believe that Armenia has higher tourism potential. In addition to the already planned and ongoing practical steps, I consider it strictly necessary to form the description of Armenia as one of the most attractive tourism destinations in the world,” the PM added.
Karen Karapetyan tasked Armenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Investments to continue the implementation of active targeted marketing and boosting measures.
