Doha World Cup: Armenian gymnasts claim gold, silver and bronze
The 10th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is over in Doha. As the National Olympic Committee of Armenia told Panorama.am, on the final day of the tournament Armenian representative Artur Davtyan took the 8th position in the parallel bars discipline.
Earlier he had won silver in the men’s vault. Davtyan also claimed the bronze medal in the men's pommel horse discipline.
On the first day of the finals, Armenian gymnast Artur Tovmasyan won the gold medal in the rings discipline for Armenia.
Thus, the Armenia athletes have claimed one gold, one silver and one bronze medals.
To note, four gymnasts represented Armenia in the tournament – Artur Tovmasyan, Artur Davtyan, Vahagn Davtyan and Harutyun Merdinyan.
