Gevorg Ghazaryan undergoes successful surgery, could return in six months
Armenian national football team member Gevorg Ghazaryan will miss six months confirming that he is diagnosed with partial knee ligament rupture injury during Armenia’s 2-0 victory against Kazakhstan on Sunday in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification round.
Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) reports, Ghazaryan left for Germany, where he underwent a successful surgery. Ghazaryan thanked supporters and the Football Federation for the swift organization of his trip to Germany.
Following a successful operation, Ghazaryan will begin his rehabilitation, hoping to be able to join the squad after six months.
