Azerbaijani fire kills another Armenian soldier
Karabakh Defense Army contract serviceman Gor Hovhannisyan (b. 1993) was killed in a shooting from the Azerbaijani side at about 2:45 p.m. on March 31 at one of military posts located in the eastern direction of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army.
According to the report by the Defense Army, investigation into the details of the incident is underway.
“Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh shares the grief of the irreparable loss and conveys its support to the soldier’s family, relatives and fellow soldiers,” the statement reads.
The incident comes two days after Defense Army reported about the death of Artak Rafayelyan (b. 1997) killed by Azerbaijani sniper in a combat position located the eastern direction of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army.
