Copper and molybdenum production levels increase in Armenia
According to data provided by the National Statistics Service of Armenia, 63,6 thousand tons of copper concentrate have been produced in Armenia in January-February of 2017, exceeding the results of the previous year by 2,5%.
for the indicated period, increase has been reported in production levels of zinc by 13.5%, amounting to 1,247 tones, molybdenum concentrates by 11.9%, comprising 1, 804 tones.
Compared with data of 2016, production levels of ferromolybdenum have increased by 36.1% and 0.8%, comprising 1, 162 tones.
According to NSS, 2.3 increase has been recorded also in the production volumes of steel pipes during January - February 2016, reaching 1,149 tones, while aluminum foil production increased by 2.5%, totaling about 4,804 tones.
