Requiem service offered in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for soldiers fallen in April war
On April 2, the Sunday of Advent, following the Divine Liturgy in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, a solemn Repose of Souls service was offered Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in memory of the brave heroes who died in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh) during the war in April 2016. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians presided over the service.
As the Information Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin told Panorama.am, the Divine Liturgy and Requiem service was attended by Armenia’s PM Karen Karapetyan,
Led by His Holiness Karekin II, the clergy and the people offered prayers for the repose of souls of the fallen soldiers.
