
Police open two criminal cases on reports received during election campaign
The Police of Armenia have received 67 reports on the electoral and election-related offences during the pre-election campaign in the run-up to the April 2 Parliamentary elections.
As the Police said in a released statement on Sunday, criminal cases opened over two reports, in one instance the launching of a criminal case was denied, one sent for preliminary investigation, while materials are prepared in connection with three other cases.
According to the release, in total 35 reports are being examined with 12 of them being checked by the law-enforcement and 13 sent to the consideration of the electoral commission.
