Levon Barseghyan confuses his address, Police official clarifies
The Head of Gyumri-based Asparez Journalists Club Levon Barseghyan has voiced about an alleged violation in the voter lists. Barseghyan took to Facebook, claiming the number of registered residents in his apartment has increased by 250 per cent with new people added whom he didn’t know.
Barseghyan has sarcastically congratulated the Chief of Police and the Chairman of the Central Election Commission on the ‘successful electoral reforms’ and ‘accurate ’compiling of the voter lists. The post is accompanied by a screenshot from the Register of Electors, proving three residents registered at 27 A Ghandilyan St., Apt. 156 in Gyumri.
The Head of Passports and Visa Department of the RA Police Mnatsakan Bichakhchyan has clarified Barseghyan’s claims, indicating the fact Barseghyan is registered at 27 B Ghandilyan St., Apt. 156.
“Instead of displaying hastiness, I would recommend Barseghyan to show more attention and learn his own address. It is no coincident Barseghyan simply tricked through posting only the names of residents registered at 27 A Building at Ghandilyan St., leaving out his own address. Mr Barseghyan, I will not take the trouble to inform your exact address which is located on the same street Ghandilyan at 27 B building instead of 27 A,” Bichakhchyan has replied on Facebook.
