Nothing more precious than peace, President Sargsyan voted
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Rita Sargsyan, this morning cast his vote at the 9/18 polling station in Yerevan.
After the vote, responding to the questions of the journalists on what he voted for, Serzh Sargsyan said he thought of peace while casting the ballot.
“There is nothing more precious than peace. We will exert every effort to keep our borders calm and inviolable,” President Sargsyan noted.
Asked to assess the chances of the ruling Republican party in the elections, the President replied: “Today is not the time to assess the chances except for receiving the votes.”
