CEC announces 60,86% voter turnout at Armenia’s Parliamentary elections
1, 574, 947 voters or 60,86% of the total number of the citizens eligible to vote participated in Armenian parliamentary elections on as of 8:00 p.m, April 2, the Chairman of Central Election Commission (CEC) Tigran Mukuchyan said during a briefing on Sunday.
Mukuchyan added the data are preliminary and have been received electronically from the precinct located throughout the country,
To remind, Police of Armenia reported as of April 1, 2017, the Register of Electors contained 2.564.195 people eligible to cast ballot on April 2 elections under the proportional, party list system,
The CEC Chairman informed all polling stations closed at 8:00 p.m., and the vote count is underway.
