Large part of our society has no idea about parliamentary elections, Karen Qocharyan says
“I do not share the opinion these elections considerably differ from the previous ones, since over the past 15 years all processes in Armenia have been nonpolitical and the tendency deepens even further,” political technologist Karen Qocharyan stated at a discussion, entitled “Parliamentary elections 2017 in Armenia” held in Media Center on Sunday.
Qocharyan’s comments came to a remark suggesting the ongoing elections are the most nonpolitical.
“Regretfully, a large segment of our society has no idea about parliamentary elections, whom and what they are voting for. People think they elect deputies to solve issues like a yard, elevator, or roof repair,” political technologist said.
Qocharyan is, however, remains optimist and is encouraged by the youth who are out of political processes, yet are active in civil life.
