Dubai Open: Gabriel Sargsyan half a point behind the leader
Games of Round 4 at Dubai Open International Chess Tournament took place yesterday. As the Chess Federation of Armenia told Panorama.am, Armenia’s representatives Gabriel Sargsyan and Vladimir Hakobyan secured victories, Eduard Hakobyan drew his game and Tigran Kotanjian suffered a defeat.
After four rounds, IM Jaime Santos Latasa from Spain, who has won all his four games, is solely leading the table.
Gabriel Sargsyan has scored 3.5 points and shares 2-21 positions. Vladimir Hakobyan has got 3 points, Tigran Kotanjian – 2.5 points and Eduard Hakobyan – 1 points. Today is a day-off.
The games of 5 and 6 Rounds of the tournament will be played on April 8.
