Armenia ranked 84th in WEF’s global travel & tourism ranking
Armenia has ranked the 84th among the 136 countries in the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2017 released by the World Economic Forum.
To note, the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index measures “the set of factors and policies that enable the sustainable development of the travel and tourism sector, which in turn, contributes to the development and competitiveness of a country”.
In the report, Georgia and Azerbaijan have higher competitiveness and are ranked 70th and 71th respectively. Russia is placed at the 43rd position and Turkey is ranked the 44th.
