Gagik Surenyan: Warm air masses to penetrate into Armenia starting from tomorrow
On Sunday, in evening and night hours, snow was recorded in Tavush hillsides, mountainous areas of Lori, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, while rain was observed in other provinces with a temperature dropped by 8 – 10 °C, the Head of “Armenian State Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Service” Gagik Surenyan wrote on Facebook.
“No precipitation is expected on April 12, short rains and thunderstorm are expected on April 11 mainly in norther provinces. On April 13-14, the country will be under the warm cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea resulting in rains and thunderstorms at times. Starting rom tomorrow warm air masses to penetrate Armenia from the south with expected temperature increase by 5 -7 °C in all marzes. In Yerevan, the temperature will be +20…. +22 °C on April 12,” Surenyan wrote.
