Vineyards in Armenia’s Aygehovit village damaged due to Azerbaijani fire
Tavush Investigative Department of Armenia’s Investigative committee is conducting a probe on the case of damaging the villagers’ vineyards in Aygehovit village of Armenia’s Tavush Province due to the Azerbaijani fire.
As the Investigative Committee reports, on 22 March shots were fired from the Azerbaijani military bases near bordering Aygehovit village of Tavush Province towards the community. Due to the shooting fire broke out in one of the fields burning down the vineyards of over 40 villagers (a total of 20.72 hectares area).
According to initial estimates, the damage caused to the villagers amounts to 10.270.00 AMD.
A criminal case has been launched into the case on 3 April under Part 3 (Point 1) of Article 185 of the RA Criminal Code. Preliminary probe is underway.
