Exhibition dedicated to Armenian Genocide opens in Vladimir, Russia
An art exhibition titled “Armenia, My Inspiration” has launched at the Fine Arts Centre of Russian city Vladimir. The exhibition is dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As Vesti.ru Russian news agency reports, the event is organized by collector, patron Edward Voskanyan.
The exhibition features works of dozens of contemporary painters, who have been inspired by Armenia in different periods. The participants include Vilen Karakeshishov, Sergey Sarumyan, Gagik Antashyan, Victor Leshchenko, Yuri Hovhannisyan and the others.
Honoured Artist of Russia Vilen Karakeshishov told Vesti.ru that he will display 24 works made by him at the exhibition, including his painting titled “White”.
