Henrikh Mkhitaryan- the Armenian star of Manchester United
The Russian Match TV Sports Channel aired a film about Armenian national football team captain and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The authors state that Mkhitaryan is currently one the main Ambassadors of Armenia in the world. “One can argue whether Kid Kardashian or Charles Aznavour are bigger names, yet the recent parliamentary elections held in Armenia unveiled some ballots papers with citizens voting for the MU midfielder,” said the film.
The documentary reflects on Mkhitaryan’s childhood, his early career in different clubs as well as his father - Hamlet Mkhitaryan who played for Ararat football club and was the main catalyst for Henrikh to become a football player.
