The trade and economic relations between Armenian and Argentine are high level, the Ambassador of Argentine to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia told at a press conference on Tuesday, when asked by Panorama.am to comment on the bilateral relations between the two states.

In the Ambassador’s words, Argentina is one the major investors in Armenia.

“We have many Armenian-Argentinean businessmen who re working in Armenia, thus contributing to the development of the trade relations of the two countries,” stressed the Ambassador.

In his words, trade and economic relations are dynamically growing with a tendency of growth observed in the recent years.  To him, Armenia and Argentine has huge potential for cooperation, especially in the agriculture sector. Moreover, works are underway to works with RA State Agency of Tourism to expand tourist visits.  

“Argentine highly values the historical and high-level political dialogue with Armenia,” stressed the Ambassador.
