Austrian reporter: I want to make Armenia known from all the aspects
“It is for the first time that I make a report about Armenia and I want to represent your country from all the aspects,” reporter of one of the Austrian radio stations Brgite Voykovich told the reporters during his visit to Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
He noted that Armenian Days are to be organized in Austria in the upcoming week.
“I want to represent Armenia not from the side that is visible on the internet when searching the word Armenia, rather to make it known from all the aspects. The Armenian nation has great composers, artists and scientists, isn’t it,” he added.
He said that his colleague visited Armenian on the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, prepared a report with an Armenian woman who survived the Genocide and presented the real happenings and historical evidence.
Asked whether all the evidence on the Armenian Genocide is not enough for the international community to recognize it, the Austrian reported said: “Certainly all that is available is more than an evidence. Unfortunately, it is a matter of politics. Meantime, the common people can also make a great difference. It is possible to achieve serious success in case of having a mature society.”
