NKR Defense Army soldier posthumously awarded with “For Service in Battle" medal
On 25 April Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree according to which serviceman of the NKR Defense Army's N division Narek Harutyunyan was posthumously awarded with the "For Service in Battle" medal for bravery shown during the defense of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic state border, Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President told Panorama.am.
To note, on April 24, at around 17:50, as a result of the ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani forces, Artsakh Defense Army soldier Narek Hmayak Harutyunyan (b. 1997) sustained a fatal gunshot wound at one of the military units located in the eastern direction.
