“Arts for Peace” new international project kicks off in Artsakh
The Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic announced the launch of the new international project “Arts for Peace”.
The artistic director of the project is Luca Ferrini – a well-known Italian pianist, conductor, participant of the International Festival of Young Musicians “TNJRE” (in 2013 and 2015). He expressed his readiness to contribute to the development of culture, creation and strengthening of new cultural ties and promotion of peace through arts in Artsakh.
The ministry informs that the project will be launched in Shushi at 17:00 on April 27, with a joint concert of Luca Ferrini, violinist Jože Kotar and clarinetist Črtomir Šiškovič from Slovenia and Belgian cellist Sevak Avanesyan.
On April 30, at 18:00, young musicians from Artsakh will join the guests at the Palace of Culture and Youth of NKR. Works by classical and modern composers will be performed at the concert.
Within the framework of the project, violin and clarinet masterclasses will be given at Stepanakert Music College after Sayat-Nova on 28-29 April.
